This is ST3DT, the first 3D-printed bioinert hybrid stent.
Built to push to elevate vascular healthcare, ST3DT fuses advanced materials and a optimized design to deliver safer and longer-lasting stents.
Here’s how we’re bringing a new era of vascular solutions to life, from research to real-world impact.
Current stent effectiveness: a clinical perspective of the problem
Critical Limb-Threatening Ischemia (CLTI) is a severe chronic vascular condition caused by blocked arteries in the legs, leading to chronic wounds, a high risk of amputation, and ultimately, increased mortality.
Despite this urgent need, metallic and resorbable stents have, for decades, failed to meet the clinical challenges of below-the-knee interventions in CLTI patients. Common complications include in-stent thrombosis, restenosis, vessel inflammation, fracture, migration and uncontrolled degradation; all of which contribute to poor patient outcomes, including repeat procedures, elevated healthcare costs, and high mortality rates.
Patients deserve safer, more effective, and longer-lasting solutions.
Where innovation meets efficiency: reshaping safer and longer-lasting stents through vascular engineering
ST3DT emerges as a breakthrough in vascular technology, introducing the first 3D-printed bioinert hybrid stent.
Developed to overcome the safety and durability challenges of current stents, ST3DT combines the strength of metal and polymer devices while eliminating their key limitations. Thanks to this innovation, ST3DT sets a new standard in patient safety.
This is what sets ST3DT apart
Put simply: ST3DT stent is designed to adapt at every indication without the complications associated with reabsorbable stents.
